I also saw on various discussion groups that people complain it keeps turning off a second after you turn it on, which I couldn't understand either as it was happening to me. It is not mentioned in the documentation that the device has three modes, controlled by the mode switch. By default the device operates in pulse mode, so when you turn on a relay it pulses before turning off again. This is probably not what most folks would require! If you press the mode button, then it changes to static mode, meaning that when you turn on any of the four relays they stay on. This was what I wanted the device to do. If you press again then the device goes into interlock mode, turning on any one relay turns off all the others.
