Spread the chocolate around with a small spatula. The key is to fill the cavities in stages, not try and poor all the chocolate on at once. Start with half of the cavities, then add more chocolate and spread. There of course will be some mess when dealing with chocolate, but it's a yummy mess:) Hope this helps.
