In 1997, Kathy made her first "primitive candle box" by hand, taking care into each detail from the sanded edges to the type of ribbon tied on the wire handles, each was a work of passion. A: No- it has to be hung up unless it sits flush against a wall.

**Q: Can this be hang outdoors?**
A: I would say no. The metal probably would be ok. But the shelf is wood. I think it would warp. The flower pots are made of plaster. Could crumble in the weather.

**Q: What is the distance between the shelf and the top of the ring? Wondering if something I want to set on it will work?**
A: 7", it's the cutest shelf.
