The only reason it is not 5 stars is that it's comes with absolutely no instructions, but being that I have installed several cold air intakes I was able to figure it all out. It makes the engine more loud because you don't have a the restrictive factory air box that acts like a muffler for sound, but this is mostly when the engine gears down for passing etc. I would say it's helped a little with mileage and I've noticed my temp stays a little cooler especially when towing my boat. If your on the fence about buying this, and have some mechanical knowledge and common sense, buy it, it's a great deal.
