(Front paws hang out but that's ok since a 15 # dog cannot be shrunk.) Outer bag material is strong and interior material looks like it would clean up well if ever a potty accident. My 15 # dog's length, longer with legs/paws forward is reason for paws sticking out, not the sling size. 15 # is enough dog to sling carry. My dog is not "small".
