I had tried the Kwikset hardware and several others, but all of the ones I had previously tried were cheap metal clearly made in China that felt like it was going to break on Day 1. The Kwikset hardware I bought barely latched correctly. So it was a relief to finally find something that at least seems like it will last a while.While this set is still not what you would call bulletproof, it was much more sturdy and reliable than anything else I tried.
