It's not too bad but would've liked a little cleaner look. I'm sure that they have to do it that way to some extent. It's also much smaller than I had thought, I should've measured it out. It's hard to write in because of the size, and I have small hands! I have neat handwriting but this sort of makes my handwriting look sloppy. The leather is nice, but I'm noticing some marks on it even though I have been very careful with it. I hope it lasts because I got this to write in as a journal to my daughter when she turns 18.
