I'm 5'7 w/ pretty sufficient T&A, and I'm finicky about my stomach. The high waist bottoms def appealed to me. I love polka dots and red, too. I was really excited to give this suit a try.Pros: This suit is, hands down, ADORABLE. I can't tell you how many compliments I get when I wear it. I feel pretty darn comfortable in it. It's also pretty stinkin' affordable.The top: The top fits great (38-40D) and keeps me secure. I particularly like how one of the back straps doesn't have a tie or clip - it's a full elastic band. So no OOPS moments if/when you get knocked around by a wave or something.The bottom: the ruching on the front of these bottoms is super flattering. I also like the length of the bottoms, too. You have sufficient material for however high or low you want them on your torso.Cons:The top: Not too many cons w/ the top for me. It's always tricky finding an underwire top that fits just right when you can't mix and match sizes. It's not 100% the exact right size, but it works fine.The bottom: *sigh* this is really the only complaint I have about this suit, and IT KILLS ME. The material on the rear of the bottoms is on the thin side. Not thin as in "see through", but thin in that it's elastic properties don't do much to smooth out bum dimples. Oh yes, people. YOU WILL SEE DIMPLES. (and we all have them. Let's not play). If the material were a bit thicker I'd be completely floored at the perfection of this bathing suit. I wish so badly for another layer of stretchy goodness...or a lining, like the front panel...OMG WHY U NO HAV LINEEEEN?!?!? I'm now on the search for a similar style of bottoms that have more coverage, as I caught a glimpse of my behind and saw my own lovely bum surfaces and immediately felt self conscious. I still wear this suit to the pool and love it, but I'm super aware of the bum and the fact that it's out there in all its glory. Which, hey, really isn't that big of a deal. When I was shopping for it, I was very hesitant because I saw mixed reviews on the sizing. I am currently a size 10-12 in pants, 170lbs, 5'5, and a 38D bra size. The majority of the reviews stated that a size 10-12 (2XL) fit true to size for them, but I actually ordered a 12-14 (3XL) due to my bra size. The bottoms would have fit just fine, but I often have trouble keeping my boobs INSIDE of bathing suits, so I didn't want to risk it. The top on the 3XL quite literally fits me like a bra. It takes a bit of adjusting because the cups are just a TAD bit small, but not enough to justify getting a larger size. The bottoms fit great, and the waist height can actually be adjusted. If you pull it down a bit, you can use the bottom as a lower-waist and it just creates a bit of a ruched look.Personally, I think it looks great both ways. I can't wait to wear this suit on my vacation.Long story short: IF YOU WANT IT; GET IT. It's well worth the money, quality made, and the sizing is accurate. Just keep in mind, since you can't order the top separate from the bottom, it's made proportionately. So, if you're small on top and big on the bottom or vice versa, you'll have a tough time. But, for those of us who are more or less the same size on top and bottom, this is the perfect fit. Thank you so much for reading. While pretty, the pattern of the bottoms did not look as good as the ones that came with the pink variety. The one that comes with the pink top sits better on the body. Had the top fit better in either variety, I probably would have kept at least one of these bathing suit sets.The issue: For me (with this set and the pink variety I previously tried) the biggest problem is that the top’s cups are huge. I’m more pear-shaped than hourglass, but I’m a 36D, so not entirely lacking in the boob department. The band fit me fine, but there was no way I was ever going to fill out the cups in the top. Unfortunately, I need a larger sized bottom but apparently need a smaller top in this brand.
