It takes off right where Ambrosia leaves off. I continue to be somewhat frustrated with Scarlett. I really wish I knew what makes this girl so incredibly special. Since I was getting on board with Scarlett and Ash in the last book I was glad that they were working on their relationship and getting along in this book. I feel for Mason. People say he is weak and was a fool, but he was also heartbroken and distraught and made some really dumb choices. We get little bits of info about Mason and his past, never enough to truly know what his life was actually like, but I feel if we did get more info then we probably would have been able to put him in the broken category and maybe some Team Ash fans would feel for him more.The crazy thing about this book is that no one really seems to get that keeping secrets does not work, I thought they would have gotten the message from the other books, but no...Scarlett and Ash continue to keep things from each other. What I was glad for was that they could work through it much better.IMO, some great things about this book:--Because of the angst/craziness/heartbreak that shows up right around 85% into the book, I feel many have allowed that to overshadow how wonderfully Noelle writes about the process of healing and getting over major issues/traumas/problems of one's past."Remember, in the end, it's not about where you start, it's about where you finish."--Andi made for an excellent addition to this book. I really liked her character, and I was really happy for one of the characters from the last book.--Noelle does an excellent job showing us the depths one goes to when they love someone and what can come from that love."You're my end and my beginning; even when I lose, I'm winning."--Scarlett's book blog and that first letter in Chapter 25. This was probably the one thing about Scarlett that didn't bother me. I also just downloaded When It Rains and will have to read that one soon.--Ok, I don't care which team you are on, how could you not melt when Scarlett got the revised charm bracelet."You now know that you don't need either of the wings that we adorned you with to fly on your own, but they're always here for you to remind you how much we both love you"So yes, no matter what, I really did enjoy this book. I agree with others and I am angry because the emotions I felt above should have been what I felt when I got to that event which I shall not name. Instead I was very angry because I felt it did not get the amount of attention it deserved in this book, and well it just made me angry that it had to come to that.That is why this was not a 5 star review for me. I was heading to a 4 star review but since I am a sucker for great Epilogues, which I loved this one, I came up with a 4.5 and without reservation I would still recommend this book and series!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Euphoria .. spoilers within *by D***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2013* if you have not read the books in this series be warned, slight spoilers contained.Euphoria is the third book in the BBF series by the uber talented and equally awesome Erin Noelle. ive made it known I had a very hard time starting this series, with Metamorphosis. I couldn't connect with the story. I picked up meta 3/4 different times before I was able to get fully invested into yet. once I did? I was hooked. I was Team Ash from the get. not a fan of Mason at all. Yes I wanted to throw something at Scarlett, very often but she was young. coming into her own and trying to find herself in this "new world" she was living in.I jumped straight into Ambrosia needing to know what happened next in the triangle that is Ash Scarlett & Mason. Scarlett was dealing with the fallout of an emotional breakdown. she came back to find that things albeit different were still the same. she was accepted back with open arms Masons to be exact while Ash waited in the wings waiting to catch his butterfly and he did. They're love could not be denied. thats not to say what mason & Scarlett shared wasn't love. Ambrosia left me realing. what would happen in Euphoria would Scarlett stay with Ash? Leave him for Mason? would they both move on from her all together?the day euphoria released it was on my kindle within minutes. Was it what I expected? no. it was much more. Scarlett made it clear she loved both Ash & Mason. yes she left ash to tend to mase in Miami but that was the start to her closing the door on the past they had together. she was fully invested in her relationship with Ash. He was her soul mate. Scarlett and Mason,through his recovery built up a solid friendship once they realized that as much as they DID love each other they knew none of the simplicities about the other. this is the love, I believe, Scarlett needed from Mason. unwavering friendship that although he wanted more from she could not give him IN THAT MOMENT OF TIME. The therapy sessions allowed them to find this. yes she kept it from Ash but it aided in the confirmation that he was her HEA. They each go on to start living their lives as they dreamed but sometimes dreams change. was I elated that Euphoria took the turn it did? no but I fully understood the whys. Ash found his euphoria, he had his music, the girl, & was working at his goal. his death was not in vain IMHO. he was at peace knowing that he helped his Psyche find her wings. he would always love her even if he wasn't physically with her. Ash owned her soul. Mason found his euphoria in recovery starting by letting Scarlett go. by focusing on himself he accomplished his dreams, thats not to say he "forgot" about his angel. Mason loved her enough to let her go.Scarlett needed Ash's death to trully find herself & reach her euphoria. Mason not visiting her was the right move. his check ins through their friends showed how deep his love for her was rooted. had he been there holding her hand for 6 months he would have been just another crutch Scarlett used to push away her own issues. She needed to accept what had happened with Evie AND Ash at her own pace on her own without "love" clouding it all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cried my eyes out *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2023* This was a good book till the end then I cried and cried and cried.
