The manufacturers Italian website has a list in English of the makes and models of cars that this rack will fit.The rack comes in kit form but is easy to assemble, you just need a decent crosspoint screwdriver. The rest of the bolts are tightened with a tool supplied in the kit.For hatchbacks like the VW Golf style the kit includes additional fittings. Otherwise the rack can be used on some saloons and estates.The rack can take up to three cycles which mount high enough so that they do not obstruct the number plate and lights on most cars. Lower racks often need an additional lighting board.There is an excellent You Tube video produced by the manufacturer. Search Padova and the 15 minute video will take you through assembly and fitting to three different types of cars. If I had followed the paper instructions it would have been very confusing.The rails that the bike tyres slot onto fold up when not in use and if you only have two bikes then you don't have to fit a third rail.The rack has plenty of protective pads so the car paintwork is protected and it comes with 6 fixing straps, 7 securing straps and a large strap to clamp the bikes to each other.The adjuster clamps on the rack have letters marked on them. Just make a note of them when the rack correctly fits your car. If you then need to fold the rack down for storage you can reset it by lining the adjuster numbers back up.All of the bolts, screws and straps should be checked after an initial 3 miles.
