As a personal note after using these for awhile... you can pay other companies perhaps ten times more for blades that are maybe ten percent better... In either the factory that produces Derby, or the plant that produces LION blades. They are Swedish stainless steel with a platinum, chromium, & tungsten coating. I'm finding then sharp, but smoother than Astra. So far I've used them in my WCS 135B, and my RazoRock Game Changer. Since they're Swedish steel, they might be too dense for use in a slant. BUT I haven't tried them in my slant yet. That is just a generalization of the characteristics with Swedish steel having to conform to the slanted bottom plate..Then again, they may very well be terrific there also. Start out SHARP, if not a little harsh (splits the difference between feathers and silver blues on the first shave). Mellows from there, and becomes sharp, smooth, and not irritating.
