It is absolutely beautiful, but that’s where it stops. Here are all the cons:-The light is WAY too bright, even on the dimmest setting-The system sounds are WAY too loud and can’t be muted—no idea why it has to make a noise every time you click a button. This means I have to have it set BEFORE my baby goes down for the night because if I forget, the just the loud process of setting the alarm wakes her up...-The “sound control” is not volume control. It’s a function that allows the display to turn off until a sound or tap turns it on. I’ve found that a tap doesn’t work, I have to physically lift the clock and bring it back down on the nightstand for it to turn on. And when my baby wakes up crying at night, the super bright display turns on and now I have both a crying baby and a flashlight-level light shining in the room. It’s so bright when it comes on that your eyes have to actually adjust to it.-The controls are not common sense. There are only 3 buttons for the many functions needed. None are intuitive...like holding down the “down” button for three seconds before the sound (or was it light?) control to pop up.-The weekday/weekend alarm option applies to all alarms simultaneously. So you can’t set a weekend alarm and a weekday alarm. It’s just that you can set weekday alarms that don’t go off on the weekend.-the plug has another blinding red lightThe date display is very weird: the year is huge and center and the month and day are tiny and in the bottom corner...like I’m more likely to forget what year it is???-Regarless of how many alarms you have set, only one alarm light turns on. So you can’t tell from the alarm interface whether that’s just one alarm or all three. I would have liked a dot per set alarm.This clock looks nice, but that’s where the buck stops. Now I don't even bother setting up my phone alarm. I depend on this alarm clock alone to wake me for work.There's a setting for screen brightness which is nice. You can set up for weekdays or weekends. 3 alarms to go off.It is kind of annoying that when you hit the snooze button, it makes another loud "beep" sound. Wish that were muted but eh. It's okay.Been using it since mid September and it's still working. If this thing lasts me at least a year, I feel it will be worth my money.
