However, this tuner has known problems displaying average power when operating SSB mode. Your average power readings will be much lower that actual average power. Other than that, it's a good product. You may also have to re-install some loose screws or other things MFJ leaves loose! **Q: Do I have to run some kind of ground on the ground connection on back of unit?** A: It’s best to ground your whole station to a ground rod. **Q: The tuner brings the power cord?** A: The tuner comes with a power cord that connects to your power supply. You can buy a wall supply also. If you want the auto tuner to work off the radio you need a radio interface for your radio to tuner. But it will tune in manual without the interface cable.
