Make as Soft Serve or Regular Ice Cream *by B***. on 18 May 2026* If you like very sweet ice cream with lots of vanilla flavor, this mix is for you. We've been making it through our Blizee soft serve machine, and it's amazing as a soft serve. After everyone has had a serving of soft serve, we put it in Tupperware freezing containers and "season" (freeze for at least 12 hours) the ice cream. It turns to a very nice consistency. At least, that's what my family says, as I prefer rock hard ice cream, this will still be able to be removed from the freezing container with a spoon; it's solid, but not overly so. It is hard-ish, creamy, with a great mouth feel. While it still doesn't beat the family recipe handed down for decades now, it is one of the better mixes you can buy, even if it is a bit on the pricey side.
