This subwoofer features a 75oz magnet with bumper plate, vented pole piece, rubber surround and poly-mica cone. This subwoofer is a high end, pro audio transducer optimized for all musical instrument, DJ, car audio and professional applications. Review: I used these to replaced the woofers in a pair of Pioneer CS-63dx speakers. I chose these speakers because they were one of the few replacement speakers that could match the magnet size of the original Pioneer woofers. For starters they fit perfectly, the aluminum frame size and bolt pattern was an exact match. At first listen they had me a bit concerned for lack of bottom end but after 50+ hours of breakin time they sound noticeably better and much better than the original 40 year old speakers they replaced. It plays with a Hammond Colonnade organ and the bass sounds very good.
