This boom arm is okay. If you choose to use the stand you cant extend it out or it will fall due to its own weight. Which sucks. But if you chose to use the desk clip that comes in the box it will make it so much better. But still, remember to use a small microphone with this boom arm. The thing is pretty small and I don't see this thing holding up a blue yeti. But otherwise that I think its good for the money and I'm satisfied.

     unless you have a very lightweight mic this stand will tip over and fall, so you need to have something to keep the weight down. And if you fully expand the arm it will fall even if there isn't anything on it.  So if you're looking to buy this make sure you add a heavy weight or velcro to the shopping cart.
