With 2 children in the house birthday party means lots of plates and lots of servings. With these boxes we can pre pack everything before the party and each kid can enjoy a meal with out having parents standing behind and services the kids.The lids clicks in place so even if tipped over food will stay in each of the compartments. I take those words to mean that they are safe in the microwave and freezer. They are not! I gave some meals to my elderly mother, the carers heated them in the microwave and the container MELTED after just a few minutes! Her meal was obviously ruined. Therefore, I came back to the product page to check the info, and noticed that half way down the page it contradicts the top info and says that they are not microwave safe. Then, in a review question, it says that they are. THESE CONTAINERS ARE NOT MICROWAVE SAFE AND THIS SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED FOR ALL TO SEE!
