## Description

Grow Queen’s Craft Chunky Aroid Mix: This is a living tropical plant soil, Ph Balanced Optimized & specially formulated as the perfect chunky soil mix for indoor plants and all tropical species that thrive with high drainage. Our tropical potting mix is your plant’s best defense against overwatering and root rot. It provides superior drainage and optimal air circulation to the roots, ensuring your Monstera, Philodendron, Alocasia, Anthurium, and other aroids flourish. Overwatering is the number one cause of houseplant deaths, so we've crafted a tropical potting soil that’s nearly impossible to overwater. At Grow Queen, our first, second, and third priority with every mix is optimal root health—because roots need oxygen and moisture simultaneously. This aroid potting mix achieves the perfect balance between high moisture retention and optimal airflow throughout the medium. We want your plants to hit the ground running with minimal transplant shock. When you transplant into this houseplant soil, we consistently see new root growth within 48 hours. This is the type of mix you want as your Monstera potting soil for indoor plants, especially rare variegated varieties like Monstera Albo, Monstera Thai Constellation, and rare variegated Alocasias because the grade and quality of ingredients ensures the health of these prized plants. But thats not all, we see unbelievable results when used on Orchids, Syngoniums, Pothos, Calathea, Hoya, Begonia, Aglaonema and many more!

Review: My Aroids love this DIRT! - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best aroid mix ever! The mix is light yet chunky, drains well, and keeps my plants healthy and happy. My indoor plants have adjusted beautifully after repotting, and I’ve already noticed new growth. Great quality and definitely worth having on hand. Highly recommend for all types of plants!
Review: The best soil! - I’ve been using GrowQueen soil mixes for a while now and honestly they’ve become my go to for my plant collection. I use the Craft Aroid Mix for my monsteras, philodendrons, alocasias, and other aroids, and I use the houseplant mix for some of my other tropicals. The texture is perfect, chunky, airy, and drains really well while still holding enough moisture. My roots always look healthy and my plants seem way happier after repotting into it. I’ve noticed stronger growth, healthier foliage, and way less issues with compacted soil or overwatering. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and thoughtfully blended. I also love that I don’t really need to amend it much straight out of the bag. Definitely one of the best premade mixes I’ve used for my indoor plants.

## Features

- NUTRIENT RICH & PLANT FOOD COMPATIBLE: Our tropical plant soil is full of living beneficial microbes. Enriched with essential nutrients, organic matter, and worm castings, this tropical potting soil works perfectly with Grow Queen Organic All-Purpose Plant Food for robust and healthy growth.
- READY TO USE AND PET FRIENDLY: Pre-mixed and moist, this monstera potting mix is ready to use straight out of the bag, offering convenience for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts. Plus, this houseplant potting soil is safe for homes with pets, ensuring a non-toxic environment for your furry friends.
- MADE WITH NEW ZEALAND TREE FERN FIBER: New Zealand Tree Fern Fiber is especially beneficial to Alocasias, Anthuriums, and all tropical plants, this house plant soil acts as a soil conditioner and neutralizes pH down to 6.0, mimicking the natural pH of native tropical plant soil.
- PEAT- FREE AND PERLITE- FREE: Harvesting peat releases significant carbon dioxide, contributing to climate change, and depletes biodiverse habitats. Perlite production is energy-intensive, involving heating volcanic glass to high temperatures. Instead, we use eco-friendly pumice and lava rock—natural volcanic rocks requiring no additional processing—which enhance soil structure and drainage in this indoor potting soil for house plants.
- OPTIMAL DRAINAGE, ENHANCED AERATION, and ROOT HEALTH: This chunky aroid mix features large Douglas fir bark fines, lava rock, and pumice, which enhance aeration for instant drainage and consistent airflow. This makes it almost impossible to overwater, preventing root rot and ensuring your Monstera, Hoya, Pothos, ZZ plant, and Thai Constellation Monstera thrive.
- CERTIFIED ORGANIC COCO COIR: Our coco coir is certified organic and sourced from a farm using sustainable farming strategies. It's washed more times for salt than the competition, making it some of the cleanest, highest-grade coco coir on the market.
- OPTIMAL WITH ALL PLANTS: Built for Tropicals but optimal for all popular houseplants including, Pothos, Hoyas, African Violets, Fiddle Leaf Fig, Snake Plants, String of Pearls, Palms, Begonias and many more

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Forever Soil
*by M***. on 17 May 2026*

Buy it!!! The best soil I have ever received and used. If I could rate it higher I would. I’ve ordered from this brand 5 different times and the quality is consistently amazing. No bugs, no mold, perfectly chunky and breathable for my pothos and philodendrons. It actually smells like fresh dirt and not mildew or chemicals. My plants always thrive in it and I’ve never been worried about them dying from some sort of unknown creepy crawlers (I’m looking at you Spider Mites and Thrips). It also comes with free fertilizer and it actually works.
