These lights do both! I love the “warm white” as it is more reminiscent of old style incandescent bulbs or candlelight. I also love the ability to brighten or dim these lights with a touch. They were easy to set up, and the package includes everything you need. I was able to run the wires from the top of the cabinets to the bottom and hold them in place with the included clips: they are kept out of the way. If you have tools, you can run the connections inside cabinets or cases, but I made do with keeping them tight against the outside edges and they are virtually unnoticeable even if visible. The included sticky pads hold the bar lights securely under my cabinets; I did not bother to attach the ones at the top as they can just lay flat on the surface. I really appreciated how simple these were to install. I am not generally good at DIY projects and don’t have any fancy tools (hammer, screwdriver, and duct tape is about it), but I had no problem getting these where I wanted them and think they look great. The included accessories make them versatile for many different setups. The only improvement I can think of would be to offer them in different color casings.
