The Lubro-Moly Motor Protect is added to the oil AFTER oil changes. 500 ml is sufficient for up to 5 quarts of engine oil. Even adding the product to special low friction fully-synthetic energy-conserving oils reduces wear by a further 35%. With a long term effect that lasts up to approximately 31 miles (keep to the oil change intervals stipulated by the manufacturer).

Here’s how I used it: 1. Start clean: Add an engine flush to your old oil and let the engine idle for about 10 minutes. Then drain the oil completely. (I used Liqui Moly Engine Flush.) 2. how many ml do i use for a 5cyl/4 cyl**
A: I didn't know the difference, I put about half can of motor protect to my 3 litre engine oil change

**Q: Can you use it in air cooled wisconsin motors**
A: I would not! I run both air cooled and water cooled. Even if you run an external filter with air cooled you always change your oil every 3 - 5 k miles! If you normally don't drive your air cooled in winter you should start the car every couple of weeks and run for 10 mins to keep valves and especially lifters coated in oil.
