    Not worth it but spectacular packaging

Took more than 2 weeks to come and it got delayed by an extra day but the overall quality of the packaging and books is spectacular. On the other hand the actual content you get isn’t that amazing ranging from trash illustrators to descent illustrators. When I got this box set I thought atleast 50%+ of books were going to be illustrated by Steve McNivon but it turns out only 1 out of the 10 are done by him and I honestly hated some of the others. Also everything felt so convoluted pertaining to the tie-in books that it’l take a Hardcore Marvel elite or constant Wiki checks to ensure you understand everything that’s being shown and know about the hundreds of characters being shown. To be honest after reading this, I don’t feel as if this is necessary to get if you already own the main civil war graphic novel. Sure there are some amazing tie-in stories but the prize doesn’t justify it in my opinion, unless you can grab it for around £200
