**Q: What does blue light mean?**
A: It’s supposed to mean that the product is working, but all it really does is leave a black smudge on the wall behind it. The product does not work. I threw mine in the garbage. Does not neutralize dust particles, odors, nothing! Get glade plug ins they work great and smell great too!

**Q: How long does it last?**
A: For about a year.  They do seem to make a big difference.  I'm happy with the purchase.

I have 3 cats and a robot liter cat box (a self cleaning box) and could still smell the cat box even though I empty it every day! I also have a air purifier and an air quality monitor which was reading in the 100's (one hundreds), after getting these Portable Negative Ion Generators and plugging them in, my air quality dropped down to 5 (which is great) and I don't smell the cat box any more! These things work, and they are worth the money, in fact they work so well, I brought more and placed them all over the house, that should say it all...
