It was very frustrating having to remove the lid and reconnect the two pieces every day. With this unit, the cable trigger is easy to install, a 10 minute job at best and has not failed yet since being installed. This was an additional cost as after market equipment but I think Flushmate should make it a standard piece of equipment, even if it adds to the original cost of the toilet system. I should have purchased this in the first place and saved myself a lot of frustration.
