A: No, the wrist straps are only that. the padded palm does cover the palm from the fingers down to the bottom of the palm.

A: I’d say yes from my experience. It helps support all five fingers as it gets support from the wrist with the Velcro hugging on it. It’s very supportive and encourages heavier lifts.
