It doesn't really scrub as easily as a regular sponge and you end up using more soap to keep it lubricated during washing. They are the best kind I ever tried, and I tried many. I use them to scrub dishes, pots and pans and also to scrub/clean fruit and veggies. Each color is designated to do a different job. I love how comfortable they are to use! The strap/handle makes it very easy to use. And when you need to clean them, just throw them in the dishwasher and they come out as brand-new. No more disgusting traditional sponges here!
