Must update review *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2019* I brought this coffee maker because I could use it on my induction cook-top I've been using an aluminum espresso maker for a few years, but had to use a portable butane stove to heat it. This coffee maker is fairly well made not high end but not cheesy, it works great on my induction cooker makes a great cup of coffee I would have given 5 stars but it had a small bit of damage see photo and the other minor problem is the threading its a little clunky the first turn sticks and rocks around a little bit but once its threaded and the seal tightens it works well. It has a stainless steel basket for the coffee but not sure what the body is made of it is magnetic but not like steel I don't think aluminum ? it dose work on the induction cooker all in all happy with it.Updated review the bottom of pot when at its hottest when you hear the coffee brewing and filling the top pot, the bottom pot bulges almost a 16 of an inch on my induction stove. It go's flat again very fast when I turn off power but I worry over time the pot may fail when pot is boiling, the bottom to me seems to be very thin. it makes great coffee, but i'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to boiling water under pressure. I am looking for a new espresso coffee maker. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Thin steel *by P***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2019* I have used this type of stovetop espresso pot for decades. The problem with this one is that while it is stainless, the bottom is flat and the steel is thin, so that when the pot heats up and is under pressure, the bottom pushes out convex and the pot wobbles on the stovetop. I guess you could use less coffee or grind it coarser so that it doesn't build as much chamber pressure. But it is a design flaw. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Shape shifter *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2019* I was quite surprised the first time I noticed that as the pressure builds in the lower chamber, the bottom of the pot begins to change shape from slightly concaved to slightly convexed. I have a glass top electric stove, so as the convexed bottom becomes slightly more pronounced, the pot begins to rock around. Once empty and cooled, it returns to the original slightly concaved shape.
