Review: A good product - Bought three (3) of these bad-boys to scare a flock of geese off our backyard. Actually worked for a while until they realized the dogs weren’t a threat. That said, other 4 legged critters like DEER and FOX keep their distance! Construction is excellent. Mounts on a spring base which has really held up well in very windy locations!!! Can flaps and gyrate wildly without visible damage. That said, the WOODEN STAKE can snap easily and all have been replaced with aluminum (Home Depot). These will last years if stored properly over winter. Our same-sized black dogs have grown fond to them🤣🤣😎..
Review: For $70 this should work a lot better than it does - Product did not work for me at all. Yes is was breezy and the decoy was moving. Within the hour multiple geese were within a few feet of the decoy. $70 for a piece of cardboard is a ridiculous price. I am returning this.

## Features

- DURABLE ALL-WEATHER DESIGN - NOT CARDBOARD - Constructed from corrugated plastic (not cardboard) with a steel spring for long-term outdoor use. Built to withstand sun, wind, rain, snow, and seasonal temperature changes.
- WHY A DOG? A CONSISTENT PREDATOR SIGNAL- Dogs naturally chase geese for sport, making them a more consistent perceived threat than predators like coyotes that typically hunt only when hungry. The dog form helps reinforce a persistent danger signal that geese learn to avoid.
- DAILY POSITIONING MAKES A DIFFERENCE–For best early results, move the decoy to a new location each day during the first week and follow the included setup instructions carefully. Small adjustments to placement, height, or orientation can significantly improve effectiveness.
- WIND-ACTIVATED MOVEMENT WORKS DAY OR NIGHT –Designed to move naturally in the wind, helping maintain the illusion of an active predator both day and night. Open areas with consistent airflow perform best, and even minor placement changes can enhance visibility and movement.
- CHEMICAL-FREE, HUMANE & PET-SAFE - Provides a non-toxic, chemical-free solution for deterring wildlife without harming animals, pets, or the environment — ideal for residential, commercial, and environmentally sensitive areas.
- SIMPLE SETUP & SCALABLE COVERAGE - Includes dog decoy, spring, dowels, and instructions for quick assembly. One decoy works well for smaller, open areas; larger or obstructed properties typically require multiple decoys for effective coverage.
- EFFECTIVE VISUAL DETERRENT WITH BEHAVIOR BASED RESULTS- Creates the realistic appearance of a dog to discourage geese, deer, and other pests. In some environments results may be immediate, while in others effectiveness increases over time as wildlife responds to a consistent perceived threat based on placement, movement, and surroundings.
- CLEAN LOW-PROFILE DESIGN - Features a sleek, simple silhouette that looks appropriate on any property — without reflective tape, noise devices, or aggressive-looking predator poses.
- PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA Designed and manufactured in Minnesota, delivering a high-quality, humane solution while supporting American jobs and craftsmanship.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good product

### ⭐ For $70 this should work a lot better than it does
*by A***R on June 25, 2026*

Product did not work for me at all. Yes is was breezy and the decoy was moving. Within the hour multiple geese were within a few feet of the decoy. $70 for a piece of cardboard is a ridiculous price. I am returning this.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can give you a small deer free zone
*by B***N on April 14, 2024*

While the deer remain, you can create a deer free zone using the decoy. My goal was to keep deer out of a portion of our yard and it did work. The bear and birds knew it wasn't real and went near it but the deer kept their distance and walked a wide path around the area. Trying one near a garden this year...not sure the temptation won't wear down the deer's concern.
