The traditional wheat and lavender bags feel heavy on me and fall off at the slightest thing. This stays in place, is peacefully calming to use and subtle enough that it isn't over powering.I purchased the navy blue version and am more than happy with the quality and strength of fabric. The softest cotton is kind to your eyes, without the slub I find cheaper heavier cottons have.I'm really pleased and will be trying it the next time I have a migraine too (as it's a genuine lavender scent and not the chemical faux scent you often find in high street lavender items)Today I've used it during my own excersizes (I do home physio for my disability and atm it's mainly focused on my legs) I lay back with this gently placed over my eyes, relaxed and took a few momenta to just be, then began my routine. It would have been much more peaceful if my dog hadn't kept trying to sniff at it to see what it was! It is so simple and yet very effective. The calming lavender scent is so subtle and aids my relaxation. The pillow moulds over your eyes and I have found it greatly reduces any light getting through. This eye pillow is lightweight so I will be taking this on holiday with me too.
