**Q: What’s the point of the roll up bags? Do they help with space?**
A: When you pack up to go home from your trip, you likely won't have access to a vac.  Rolling the air out saves space.

**Q: Are these bags mildew and mold resistant?**
A: Maybe. Let's manage your expectations. By "resistant" do you mean that they keep mold and mildew out always, or just most of the time?

I have owned these vacuum bags from a variety of manufacturers. To date, not even one bag held it's vacuum for longer than a few months. Most lost the vacuum after a week or three. So if they are going to leak air, then there is a chance that mold and mildew can enter the bag too. I keep looking for updates to the product so they don't leak, but so far, they all seem to be the same product with different manufacturer's names on them.

**Q: I have a small handheld vac pump that works with FreshSaver zipbags (they have a round, flat "seal" area). Would that work for these bags?**
A: You don't need a pump. Just rolling the bag forces the air out. It's a one-way valve at the bottom of the bag. Couldn't be easier.
