The Z fold is exactly what is needed to pack a wound. Luckily, I have not had the chance to use it, and hope I never will. However, I think it will work fine and is priced well when compared to some brand hemostatic products that are on the market. I gave it four stars as I have no way of confirming sterility, but this should not sway you in your purchase choice.

Picked this up for my trauma kit. Look like a nice, clotting gauze that would work well for a bleeding emergency. The Z fold is exactly what is needed to pack a wound. Luckily, I have not had the chance to use it, and hope I never will. However, I think it will work fine and is priced well when compared to some brand hemostatic products that are on the market. I gave it four stars as I have no way of confirming sterility, but this should not sway you in your purchase choice.

I have not used this yet, but the box came well packaged. The product is in a very tightly packaged vacuum sealed bag. Hopefully I will not have to use this, but it is nice knowing it is in my emergency kit for future use if it is needed. The directions on the back are detailed, so I have no worries about the ease of use. I am pretty confident because of the packaging, that this will be a quality product. If it is used in the future, I will update with my experience.
