Review: I really did myself the favor and read this book. - i completed this book at a go. the only bad aspect of this book for as a hopeless romantic you see was that we very less good time with both the characters together with everything solved. but thats tge problem with a lots of books i have seen ...prime example will be find me ( the sequel to cmbyn) but this is nothing like find me though. i must add the reviews on amazing are pretty solid , my absolute favorite being from this guy called chiatanya srivastava where he goes with the title "do yourself a favour and read this book". in no way anyone is going to regret this book. i cant think of any way. now im gona talk about characters here so spoilers ahead . when i started reading i was like man ..this boy is 15 and how am i supposed to relate with him me being 18. but then i was like babe ..you were 15 once . and you have to remember that. then tried to trace back my 15 y/o self . honestly..no joke but we are forgetting what it was like 15 when we turn 16 a beautiful line from the movie the perks of being a wallflower. okay comming back to the story , i cant emphasise enough on how much i was able to resonate with ari. his hateness towards everybody after the accident, his awkwardness when people thanked him , how he needed so much alone time despite having a person he absolutely loved and adored. personalities like ari and his dad should be adored i tell you. as ari was the protagonist we know ari more than dante but its okay i guess . i feel like i know them both , in fact both their parents. every character in this novel had life and i will remember them , this doesn't happen a lot when you remember almost all the characters other than the main characters. as for the main characters both of them had something sad about them . if you have the sliglest idea of queer history you will feel more sad i guess which again brings me to the fact there was good representation i guess. i dont know i just finished reading the book and my thoughts are all over the places , guess i ll have to clean the messy room . and the two girls who were friends with ari in school, they need some appreciation man. i have mutual feelings for them as ari and i know for a fact ari appreciated both of them more than was written in words. ari as a character is an introvert ,asocial, overthinker, intellectual with good sense of humor . now thats a deadly combination and its rare to find irl . atleast thats how i would like to put it . and this combination is the sexiest . i tell you . ari had character development thanks to his parents but it was kind of his parents fault too . why im saying so is because ari also had an additional package with the above mentioned combo and that is self pity and zero self love . but eventually he learnt all of that . the biggest lesson he learnt is accepting his own feelings and thoughts . thats my opinion though . sure he was a melancholic guy and i dont think that shit changes overnight . but anyways the whole journey was pure . both the characters . for dante i have no solid opinions of him as of now as my mind is filled with ari because we got his insights more than dante but had we got both their prospects ,that would have been interesting. really . now talking about the relationship ari and dante had, it was so honest throughout! and i love that and i cant think of any other way. yeah. still contemplating on weather you should buy it or not? do yourself a favour and read this and own this book.
Review: A gem of a book!!! - “Another secret of the universe: Sometimes pain was like a storm that came out of nowhere. The clearest summer could end in a downpour. Could end in lightning and thunder.” How do I begin to describe the beautiful, out-of-this-world experience this book gave me ? I dont think my inadequate words can ever come close to describing the surreal experience this book gave me. “I renamed myself Ari. If I switched the letter, my name was Air. I thought it might be a great thing to be the air. I could be something and nothing at the same time. I could be necessary and also invisible. Everyone would need me and no one would be able to see me.” Ari was like a reflection of me. His thoughts, his anger at the world and his inexplicable melancholy and sadness was so reminiscent of all my feelings when I was going through the transformation of becoming an adult. Dante was also a sweetheart but it was Ari who truly stole my heart. “Everyone was always becoming someone else.” The story set in the 80s is more of a gentle summer rain than a thunderstorm of action packed plot. It is more character driven than based on any plot specific lines. It takes us through the amazing journey of self discovery that Ari and Dante go through in their metamorphosis to adulthood. “Why do we smile? Why do we laugh? Why do we feel alone? Why are we sad and confused? Why do we read poetry? Why do we cry when we see a painting? Why is there a riot in the heart when we love? Why do we feel shame? What is that thing in the pit of your stomach called desire?” The beautiful ties of friendship and family love portrayed in this book will make us wistful for something similar in life. This was in one word, a true masterpiece of brilliant characters and excellent literary prose. "Senior year. And then life. Maybe that's the way it worked. High school was just a prologue to the real novel. Everybody got to write you -- but when you graduated, you got to write yourself. At graduation you got to collect your teacher's pens and your parents' pens and you got your own pen. And you could do all the writing. Yeah. Wouldn't that be sweet?” So if are you unsure of your place in this world, the meaning of life or if you are just plain lost, this is a book that will help you write your own story to show the universe.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple book

Have you ever fell in love? Have you got scared to express your love for someone? Are you afraid of the society, when it comes to the terms and conditions of approving love? I was attracted towards this book by its cover itself, indeed such a beautiful design. Then of course the name of the book. At first I thought (like many of you) this might be the story of real Aristotle ( the Greek philosopher ). But this book is about two best friends, Aristotle and Dante, both 15 years old. Now what's this Universe? Mmm, read and find out. The story is explained on behalf of Ari. Beginning from their first meet up, to their friendship and finally to love. They both are entirely opposites except they didn't have enough friends or in short no best friend. The author has explained so authentically the thinking process, experiences, problems, insecurities, flaws everything a fifteen years old boy would have. I must appreciate that. Also there is no barriers in true love. Love being the purest thing in the world, we may fall in love with anyone. Gender, age, nationality, family background, anything can't defame true love. Love is a personal decision, we must accept that first. Even if two men are in love, it's not gonna affect me or you, it's their decision, then why this society is not ready to accept them, the way they are? What surprised me the most is Ari and Dante's families, especially Ari's mother. The support and love. They knew their children, what's in their mind even without asking. The book is written in a very simple language. for me it was a light read, even though somewhere I felt a little lag! Beginners also can go for this book. For me it was a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 read.
