Fair sized box, easy to use tinder tabs, with a solid brass firestarter that slots in perfectly. Zippo sized flint wheel with a flint twice the size than average, fixed with an included mini allen key (not a knurled cheese head screw like the ust uses). The grub screw used tightens right into the base of the firestarter, flat. To be honest its not as comfortable in the hand as the exotac nanospark, but it was designed to fit snugly in its emergency kit box, and a more comfortable profile would get in the way of that.
