So I did some research and after looking at tons of them in stores and online, I decided to buy this one. Even though it's pricey, the quality is superb. So many others are made of synthetic fabric and just feel awful. Long story short, she loves the blanket and so do I. After trying hers I decided to buy one for myself and have never slept better, honest to god. No more waking up in the middle of the night, no more tossing and turning. It's like a magic blanket. I wish I could say I traveled around a lot with it or washed it incorrectly or anything like that, but I’ve been super gentle since I loved it so this is disappointing. Looking back at reviews this isn't an uncommon problem. We started out with a king which didn't quite fit our king bed - since we didn't like the zipper we decided to go with two twins. Well to our surprise the twin size also had a zipper. We decided to go ahead and keep them anyways because we really liked them. Well about seven months of having them the zipper broke on one. I contacted the company to see what my options were- I got a reply that there was nothing they could do that I would need to find someone local to fix it. They also said that they recommend to wash it with it zipped up because the zipper tends to break if not- not mentioned anywhere on the care instructions. (So this seems to be a problem of theirs). Which is funny because it states on the description that the zipper is for easy washing. However I have not washed mine- so that is clearly not why it broke. I have been really careful with my comforter and its been in a cover. I took it to three different places locally to try to get it fixed- no one is able to help me. I was told by each of them I should contact the company. I contacted the company again - telling them what I was told and asking if they could fix it even if there was a fee. I never heard back (its been about 3 weeks since I sent email). So now I am left with a $269 comforter that I can't use.
