My 10 watt LED grow bulb puts out a massive amount of heat for such a small bulb, and I could not put it on any kind of Base or build any kind of sturdy and dependable wait to prop it up to light up my fish tank, so I took a chance on this gooseneck lamp and for over a month it has not had a single hiccup. I like the fact that it focuses the brightness appropriately, the build quality of the metal seems good, but most importantly the area around the bulb is cool enough to touch, which is amazing considering how much heat the bulb puts out. I would definitely order these from my other tanks!
