The blade is a work of art, the folded Damascus steel makes a beautiful pattern. And it will slice paper and skin and it's own shipping box.Sword feels sturdy and well made, everything is nice and tight.Noticably heavier than standard Katana because of it's length and extra thickness needed for a long blade. But with the leverage of the (almost too long) handle, I could swing it around reasonably well.Shinwa is from China, but they are I've of the quality, recognized sword makers. Makes this an awesome deal- very happy with it!

It’s a nice blade. Exactly what I wanted but I had a bent tip on the blade. I don’t know if it’s the sheath or if it was simply mishandled. I’m not really into fixing my own blades. So I think it’s gonna have to stay that way.
