I got what I paid for, and I didn't expect the quality I get from the Amazon Kindles, but if anything happens to the Kindles, I'm out about $400 (that was a Black Friday special too) which is why I opted for this. For my son (he's eight and has butterfingers), it has been great until the screen cracked. I ordered from Hypersy and they were AWESOME with communication, and promptly sent me a new one. Customer service was bar none. The product performed as I thought it would for $36. It ran somewhat slow, but you can watch videos, send e-mail, play games, and take fuzzy pictures.
