Also it is light weight yet cooks well and evenly. The only thing we don't like about the pan is the shorter handle (unlike the longer handle) is metal so it gets too hot for a bare hand. A potential problem is with its light aluminum construction, we question it's durability. However, we've used it about a month and as of yet its holding up fine. Time will tell.Also the glass lid is beautifully engineered with a small vent hole to prevent steam and liquid from spewing out and dripping down the side of the pan. You can clearly see the food cooking and the plastic handle makes the lid easy to grip with a bare hand even when hot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bottom Coat Peeling Is OK *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on 24 April 2012* First use cooking went fine. (But during clean-up the coating on the pan's bottom side started to peel in several places. Seller said that they had no other complaints but would replace if I shipped it back and paid shipping. So I've cut my loses and am keeping it.)
