However,it is not as solid as the original Nintendo DSIXL case. *by E***C on February 4, 2014* Replacement case works. However,it is not as solid as the original Nintendo DSI XL case. This rating is based on the quality of the product. After installing the case on the DSI XL there are parts that do not fit the same as on the original system. The color of the case is also a different shade of red than the original case that was released from Nintendo. The installation takes about an hour and is not for the novice individual. I repair systems for a living and can normally get one of these Case / shell repairs completed within 35 to 40 minutes. Please note that you have to completely take the system apart top and bottom LCD's , cameras, speakers which require soldering, wifi antena, mic and so on.You will want to use your original screws that came with the system as these are a much better fit on the replacement case. The replacement case works, i just hoped that it was better built. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ looks good *by R***O on December 31, 2013* Product came in took 2 and a half weeks looks ok but haven't assembled still waiting for the hinge pieces from another company.
