For vehicles other than probably a more modern Jeep these are NOT plug and play and some head scratching and wiring are in store to make the Halo rings work properly and be DOT compliant. Also another thing is the wiring harness for the controller and Halo rings is not real long and even on a small Samurai I had to extend the harness on the Halo ring controller box. After about 3 - 4 hours I had them installed and all the wiring ran and I can say they work awesome and are 1000 times better than the old 7 inch incandescent bulbs that were on it and they look good too. They seem well made they are heavy and made of Aluminum and glass (bonus) no plastic! Also only a few minor headlight aiming adjustments were needed they were pretty much spot on with where the old lights were just much much brighter and clearer. Now my old 87 has modern vehicle lights! The reason for 4 stars is they need better instructions not just a schematic. ### ⭐⭐ Continue my search *by G***E on October 26, 2018*  I like my old ones better. But I had a bulb that won’t turn on. I need to replace old ones. I think I’ll continue the search for better ones.I was able to figure out how to change them out. They were pretty easy...for a girl. 😁 ### ⭐⭐ Pay more and get the better ones *by A***R on October 25, 2018* You get what you pay for. There are plenty that are more expensive. I should have gone that route. It's now been 2 weeks of me playing with these to get them to stay on. I was driving on the highway and they just went out....... which was great because it was pitch black and had to pull over on the side of the road to fix them. Could only get one to work.
