Review: Excellent germination success rate - I just purchased my second bag of this miniclover seed, because I was so impressed with the results from the first bag. The germination rate has me deeply impressed. My yard is more green, more lush, softer, and more attractive to pollinators. I find that sprinkling the seed while it’s raining or just prior to it raining helps a lot. You won’t need to water the seeds unless your area goes through a dry spell. And even then, it shouldn’t need that much water. The quality of the miniclover that’s been growing is exactly what I’d hoped it would be. The closer puts nitrogen back into the soil. Making the lawn healthier overall. It’s just a win-win scenario.
Review: Planted in September = green in November - JULY 2019 UPDATE: We haven’t watered or put any chemicals on our lawn! I have uploaded a picture showing our clover mix lawn and what a pretty shade of green it is compared to the neighbors grass lawn. We still need to mow once a week, but now there are hardly any clover flowers. The grass still dies when the dogs pee on it, but the clover does not. I’m super curious to see what happens during the dryer months of the summer when the lawns all turn brown. I just moved my star rating from four to five stars. This really is one of the best decisions that we have ever made. I will update again during the drought months. JUNE 2019 Update: We LOVE our lawn! Yes, we are getting little white flowers, but we can mow them away. As of right now, we have not yet trained it to stay short. We are mowing as often as a regular lawn. I just purchased my second bag of this miniclover seed, because I was so impressed with the results from the first bag. The germination rate has me deeply impressed. My yard is more green, more lush, softer, and more attractive to pollinators. I find that sprinkling the seed while it’s raining or just prior to it raining helps a lot. You won’t need to water the seeds unless your area goes through a dry spell. And even then, it shouldn’t need that much water. The quality of the miniclover that’s been growing is exactly what I’d hoped it would be. The closer puts nitrogen back into the soil. Making the lawn healthier overall. It’s just a win-win scenario.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tips for Growing in Phoenix

I planted these seeds in the Phoenix area last summer and they sprouted and then died. I tried again in the fall and had better luck. Here are some tips for growing this in low desert areas: -It wants to be damp or wet here. It is not very drought tolerant in Phoenix. Ideal places are near where you dump a water trough or under misters. It really seems to like being sprinkled or misted daily, so it's not ideal for flood irrigated areas, aside from places that puddle and stay damp. -It says full sun, and it will do ok-ish if it stays very wet. I've had better luck with it in part shade or even full shade here. -It doesn't love a lot of foot traffic. -It's growing in a variety of soils for me, and is doing ok in the native sandy loam and even in some heavier clay. It does better in richer soil and really likes growing in manure. -My goats and tortoises loved this over the winter. I hope it survives the summer! I didn't get a very dense lawn-like sprouting, but maybe I didnt put down enough seed. It's cute mixed in with a variety of grasses though (winter pasture overseed). It did stay green all winter for me.
