A: If you meant 1-1/4", the answer is yes. Thank you.

**Q: Does this pump automatically shut off when pressure is reached?**
A: As with ANY submersible pump you must install a pressure switch to do that. It is the pressure switch that controls the on/off. Your wiring comes from the breaker box to the switch and the wire from the pump is connected the the switch.

**Q: what type of pressure switch do i need, i need to order one ?**
A: Square D by Schneider Electric 9013FSG2J21 Air-Pump Pressure Switch, NEMA 1, 30-50 psi Pressure Setting, 20-65 psi Cut-Out, 15-30 psi Adjustable Differential

**Q: We know the pump's size is 1 1/4. I need know if can use just 1" (one quarter less).  Can I use it?**

It sits in the bottom of a creek at a 45° to irrigate my lawn. of coarse I made a screen for it out of 4" PVC also.I have been running 9 impulse heads at 60psi. for 3 years now.
