But the cording on the ball part of them started unraveling about 6 months after I got them. I kept thinking that I would glue the thread/cord back, and never did, and now it's completely unraveled about a year after I got them, revealing the plain wood underneath. I still haven't cut the thread off, so now if I don't lay them down separate from each other, they get caught up with each other. And of course, they look crappy this way. I would love for them to be replaced by the seller if possible, but in the mean time will probably just cut the thread off and maybe paint the wood (but just like every other project I have, probably won't do that either). It's too bad, because otherwise I like the magnet design a lot. Disappointed as they are very easy to use, and curtains do stay back, but they are not made well and are beginning to unwind. For how much these cost, I would have expected them to last longer.Update: I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4, as I recently received a full refund for the defective product, and also a replacement product. It has only been a few days that I am using the new tiebacks, but I am hopeful they will stay together as I understand the specs have been updated and product has been improved.
