It does about 10mph with just me on a 12'x4' flat bottom 3 seat job boat, it's air cooled so the salt water doesn't hurt anything in the engine, the 4 stroke engine is quiet enough for what I wanted, only thing is it has to rev up pretty high to get the clutch to engage.
