He liked it very much. He doesn'y smoke so I don't know why he wanted a lighter but the dragon image is very good. We charged it (it comes with charging cable but appears to be a standard mini-usb on the lighter end so it should fit those types of cables. The one 'trick' seemed to be you had to turn it upside down when you open the case to get it to go on.
