**Q: Can this replace the p728c? can you take the hook off the old one or buy a new w hook to go with it?**
A: I think the only difference with the "C” is the hook at the bottom, which is a safety measure that keeps it from impaling you if it breaks and you are nearby. You can take the hook off your old springs, as I did, and it’s just fine.

**Q: What's the difference between P728 and P728C?**
A: The P728 does not include a "w" or "c" hook while the P728C used to come with a w-hook attached. We are not shipping w-hooks on any of our springs anymore.

**Q: return policy**
A: The spring already has a safety cable inside it.

**Q: My garage uses 4.  Can use 2 of these and 2 of the p528...or do all 4 need to be the same? Want to keep door up during Rain.**
A: Yes you can use a mix of P728 and P528 to achieve a higher load capacity on the springs. If you have an existing, balanced door with all P728 springs, then you will want to stick with all P728 springs. If it is a new door, you will need to determine the weight of the door and then appropriately balance the door once you go to install.
