But, guess what, it works! It seems that as long as the two parts are not separate from each other for more than 1 cm, the sensor is good to use. These sensors not only detect motion change but also itself vibration change. Opening the door with any alarm mode would trigger the control panel with a regular alarm. If you try to remove the door sensor, it doesn't matter what's the mode is set on the control panel, it will make a very sharp noise.
