Zinnia California Giant Flower Seeds, Bulk Pack 8 Oz, 22,000+ Seeds by Seeds2Go

I planted these in the western Chicago suburbs, Zone 5b, on all sides of the house, NSEW, regardless of sun exposure. I achieved amazing growth EVERYWHERE I planted, and the east side of the house, which had the least amount of sun, had the highest flowers, almost 6 feet high. These flowers even grew in the shade, full and healthy. Planting on May 10 resulted in flowers in late June/early July that lasted until mid-October. I fertilized about 3 times in all, probably not enough but the flowers didn't seem to really need much more. These seeds were enough to plant 6 enormous flowerbeds and still have half of the bag leftover. Amazing. The variety of colors and blossoms was glorious, some fat and full, some simple and daisy-like, some curly, some spiky. The best part of all was the amount of butterflies, hummingbirds and bees these flowers attracted all summer. I got so many compliments all summer long from pandemic walkers strolling past the house. The incredible thing is that it was so easy. Rake the dirt, drop the seed, sprinkle on some dirt, water, wait. Foolproof. Really a great product and an amazing amount of seeds for the price, best deal around.

I had NO plans of planting a 'garden' as such but I had a wire fence surrounding my sunny back yard and wanted at least a degree of privacy so thought these may be tall enough to do the trick. North Central Nebraska summers are unpredictable, at best, so didn't have a clue how much or little work would be required. Since the ground was previously grass (read weeds) only, I had a border around my fence tilled up and waited for a nice sunny day after the turned up soil had dried. I simply tossed handfuls of the seed onto the tilled soil and 'barefooted' around the area to set the seeds into the soil. I watered them ONCE, immediately after that and that is the extent of my participation in the 'work' involved in this experiment. Quite unusual, we had enough rainfall that I didn't have to water again all summer. These seeds have NOT been tested by any lab of which I am aware but I would have thought 'steroids' if I had re-read the plant description during the course of the summer. Very rapid growth and most of the plants reached over 48" in height. Very vibrant colors and such variety. Will try these as my 'privacy screen' next year as well with MAYBE a back row of the giant sunflowers. I'll use Sevin for aphids on the sunflowers but insects were no problem with these zinnias. Only after the Labor Day, did I get spooked by the number of migrating Monarch butterflies that stopped to enjoy a sip or three. Still trying to get a decent pic to post but their number is truly staggering. Also see more dragonflies which are beautiful. NO downside to these seeds. Just ordering twice as many for next spring!

These seeds have grown so well anywhere I have put them! I cannot wait to buy more in the future and have more to plant! These will be gorgeous!!

I planted five clumps of these seeds, about twenty seeds per group. They germinated quickly, grew well and reached a height of 2-3 feet. I’m in Colorado where the elevation is above 6k feet and semi-arid so regular watering is required. Mine were on a drip line and sometimes needed extra water during very dry periods. They tolerate hot, dry, sunny days very well. Blooms were colorful, large, continuous, and of varying sizes and shapes. Very pleased with the results. Highly recommend.

These are the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever had. I can’t believe I started these from seeds there are literally hundreds of flowers. I also have so many seeds left over for next year and probably for years to come. I’ve planted them in so many places this was such a good value.

These are pretty, dainty little flowers. Out of 8oz these are the only 5 flowers that have grown.I purchased 8oz of these seeds for over $30, believing they would be GIANT flowers.As you can see they are barely 1” diameter flowers, and barely stand 6-8” tall.I am extremely disappointed in this Company’s FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! This is the first time I have ever had problems with seed purchase thru Amazon.These seeds were sold by SEEDS2GO. I Do Not recommend purchasing these seeds from them.I have no seeds left to return…. I really would like a refund. These seeds will not benefit my needs for them!Waist of money!!

These are so easy to grow. And they sprout in a several days.
