The ingredients that are worst for reefs are Octocrylene and Oxybenzone which are the main ingredients in normal sunscreens. These chemicals are not on the list of ingredients for this one. It worked great for me! Just beware that sometimes you will see sunscreen that says reef safe on the bottle, but if you check the ingredient list it will have Octocrylene and/or Oxybenzone just in a smaller percentage or lower down on the list than the average bottle. **Q: Is this product non-nano?** A: Hey! Travel size is perfect for packing. easy to apply. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great in Philippines sun and no eye stinging! *by B***N on May 7, 2019* This product worked great for us in the Philippines for a week of sea kayaking off the coast of Palawan and 4 days at a beach resort. Lots of sun exposure time and no burns. We reapplied at least three times a day but was wearing hats and long sleeve rash guard when possible as nothing workes better than SPF clothing. We took 4 bottles but only used 2.5 bottles for two people over a week and a half for two people of our more sun-intensive days. If wanting to go without a rash guard I would suggest a bottle would last 3 full days of sun for one person when doing multiple recoats of chest, legs, and face. I had no issue with stinging in eyes when applying it to my forehead in the sun after letting it dry for 20 minutes. This product will make a very slight white cast to your skin when you have it on in the correct amounts, didn't bother us. It will also leave lighter spots on clothing you get it on but will get lighter throughout the day and washes out 100%.
