I've looked over my fair share of actual reproduction military jackets, specifically pelisses, as I always wanted one being a big history buff who thought they looked very sharp but couldn't bring myself to ever order one because they can run a little pricey.I came across this jacket searching around on Amazon and for the price I thought I'd take a flyer on it and boy I could not have been happier. The quality is amazing! The faux fur is soft, gold braiding is well stitched, the collar stands up, and the jacket actually closes with button and loops up the center! I ordered a medium at first (I'm about 5'8", 160lbs, normally wear suit jackets in the 36-38S range or a medium in shirts) and I found it just a bit too roomy in the chest so ended up ordering a small and it was a perfect fit for me, slimming but not tight.
