It has a good amount of weight to it so it's not some flimsy piece of junk. The previous owner of our home had a neighbor remodel the house and he cut a lot of corners. Where we needed this light to be (centered to the sink) was off because of the previous light fixture being left of center. Where we needed this one was the hole where the wires come out of the wall and the wall was all wonky so that getting it flush to the wall took some ingenuity. Anyways, we got it up and I like it. We are installing wood planks under the chair rail in the bathroom in a week or two so this will go perfect with that and with the shelf above the commode.I recommend it.
